We have arrived in Man-O-War Cay we went ashore, nice little restaurant we ate at called Dock and Dine, we had conch burger, I am making chicken paprikas. for dinner.
Man-O-War Cay is famed for its boatbuilding and safe harbor. The settlement itself reflects an industrious community in the Bahamas, whose interests are primarily boatbuilding, boat repairing and sailmaking. The Man-O-War residents have a strong spiritual commitment, which keeps the little community somewhat apart from the ways of the outside forld, including the total ban on the sale of alcohol. While we are here we are going to try to visit the boatbuilding shops. Ross and I went into the shop where the ladies at Albury's canvas shop have been sewing canvas bags and hats for years and years. We walked in and watched them, they don't mind.
