Key West January 2013

We decided to drive up with Mike Sharp for the day to Key West.

Checking out the Tarpin which are big fish they hang out around the restaurants where they throw left overs into the ocean and they all get a free meal.

This is a parasailing company check out the name of their boat "Chute Happens" (Parachute) thought that was a cute name.

Mike told me the  blonde haired pelicans are the adolescent ones versus the darker more mature pelicans.
Ross enjoying the view from the Schooner Wharf bar restaurant.
Sunset beach in Key West has lots of interesting entertainment.
Dante's Restaurant very dog friendly and has a pool Gigi is meeting a friend this dog looked like her as a puppy this dog is 6 months old.
 Dante's restaurant and pool area.

Gigi and I enjoying Key West.

A fishing boat just returned with his haul for the day.  I am not sure what kind of fish these were.

Pelicans waiting for the fisherman to clean his catch of the day so they can have the leftovers as he throws the parts you can't eat into the water.
These ladies had rented a cute golf cart type of car for the day they were laughing and having a good ole time.

Canvas installation

Bret from Carribean Canvas  is starting to install some of the canvas on the boat to make it cooler in the hot summers of Florida.

It is like a big shoe where you lace it up over the railings. Lots of laces

 MMMM where do I start?

Gigi is looking on to make sure the job gets done right.

Lifting it up and over the railings. Have to start somewhere!!

Smile Bret you are on candid camera.

A walk break.
Bret is continuing to lace up the canvas.
