St Augustine,FL

We are entering St. Augustine, FL . It was founded in 1565 as a Spanish military outpost, St Augustine is the oldest continously occupied European settlement in the United States. Traces of the city's Spanish heritage are everywhere, and a Spanish Quarter where conquistadors once strolled is re-created for the 21st century vistior.
This is the mooring field which we are in and as you can see their are several boats most sailboats moored out here.

We are moored by the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument which was built in 1672, and you can inspect the battlements and dungeons.
