Manatee siting Titusville, FL

Manatee near Cool Change

Here is a manatee they are a relative of the elephant. They eat vegatation they travel right just below the water level so alot of them have scars from boat motors. They are so docile. You are not suppose to feed them, or give them fresh water or touch them. They are so cool looking their tails look like beaver tails.

We encountered a manatee close to our boat. I was using some fresh water to clean the boat, and I guess they really like fresh water so they like to drink the fresh water from the boats.

This manatee looks like he is smiling.

The manatee eat vegatation so it was eating some of the stuff off our boat. It was so funny.

This manatee looked like it was climbing up on the ladder.

Ross is here can you see no shirt whoppy! Nice warm day here in Daytona Beach, FL, going out for a nice dinner at the Blue Grotto!.

This is the marina we are in with lots of other boats in the background.

We are going under the "International Speedway Bridge" This is made of mosiac tiles of dolphins and manatees, it is so cool all of the pilars have these completely going around the pilars.

Here is another view of the bridge.

These are some colorful condos along the "Intercoastal Waterways" we past.

This is the signs they have everywhere because this is the manatee area and you need to slow down. they are not around now because it is too cold and they go in the springs where the water is warmer.
Going down the little canal towards Titusville, FL around 5 miles from the shuttle launch which we hope to see.

Crab boat with the pelicans trying to steal the bait. It is so funny the boat goes in circle to avoid the pelicans.

You can see the crab cages in the back with the pelicans all around the boat.

This is a little canal boat looks like a homemade job. On the back it says "College Station, PA"

Escorting Dolphins

Here are a few pictures of our dolphin escort we had on our way to Titusville, FL It was awesome to see them ride the bow of "Cool Change". They were like playing with the waves, it was really neat.

Here is a cool video of the dolphins riding the boat. They were having a good time playing.
