On to Sandy Hook
This is Jeff from Colorado, he was on a 40 foot boat staying overnight in Guy Lomardo Marina too. He gave us some advice and told some tall tales.
This was an interesting fishing boat on our way to Sandy Hook
Here is Captain Ross all smiles it is a nice sunny day. Cold but you couldn't ask for calmer seas.

Here is First Mate, and Galley Slave ME, it was cold up on the outer helm, but you can see everything from there. Can't wait for warmer days.

This is the entrance to our new home Sandy Hook Marina.
As you can see from this picture, the marina is empty we are the first to arrive.
Here is "Cool Change" in her new home.
Here is the "Sea Streak" we take over to Manhattan and then take a cab to LaGuardia airport to to end another chapter in the Smelley saga.

Hello Freeport, NY
Welcom to Freeport, NY the nautical mile full of restaurants, and bars and fun places to shop. However, it looks like we may be a little early in the season. Many places were closed for the season which looks like might be around April 10th or so.
This was someone's decoration in their front yard, can you imagine a full size anchor in your front yard!
Here is Ross posing down the Nautical Mile. It was a nice sunny day in Freeport, NY finally but still had a chill in the air. note ski jacket!
This is my hungry seagull friend who was trying to beg for some of our dinner, "Sorry buddy go get your own dinner!"

Cool Change
Ross and I finally had the opportunity to put up "Cool Changes" name and we added the little palm tree, because we will end up in warmer weather one of these days.

Finally we are finished with the name. "Can we leave yet?"
Ross and Carlgil who is from the Bahamas. He is a worker here for the marina. While we have been in Texas Carlgil has been watching over our boat, and cleaning the outside of it.
