Ocean Isle Marina

Great sunsets here in North Carolina.

A beautiful way to end a great day with a great sunset.

After Tropical Storm Nicole

A double rainbow here at Sea Path Marina what a beautiful way to end a day especially after such a terrible storm.

Here are some awesome shots of a rainbow after the storm Nicole blew over and just as the sun was about to go down a rainbow came out.

Traveling down the intercoastal

As we travel down the intercoastal there are some really nice homes.

Here is a cool very pink house. Note the parrot and anchor on the side of the house. Ross says they and boats and Parrot heads. They even have their own light house.

Here is another picture of the house.

Seagull following us thinking he will get a free handout.

They love to follow the bow of the boat and race along.

Some more of our dolphin friends just hanging out.

Mile Hammock Bay Anchorage/Camp LeJune

Here I am with my new cool rain gear. Hope it clears up soon!

Here is the sign that is warning you about the artilliary. It was a little far for my camera to pick it up.

Here is an artillerary site where they practiced there shooting at Camp LeJune very interesting. When the red light flashes you can't go through the intercoastal or your boat maybe the next target luckily for us we just the aftermath of what they do there and were not the actual target.

Here is a boat that was passing us on the intercoastal waterway.

Here is one of the bridges opening for us very low clearance, they call it a swing bridge.

When they dredge the Intercoast Waterway they throw the dirt off to the side which they call "The Spoil" here is a lone tree that grew up on it. It was cool looking.

We have a visitor on our overnight "Wine Down".

Morehead City, NC

We met some new friends on the dock seagull and pelican waiting for the fishing boats to come in. They know where free food is.

Ross enjoying the scenery as we head down to Morehead City, NC

Some of the scenery headed down south some of the clouds that were part of the large storm cell.

This is the dolphin that was swimming around the smaller sailboats having fun in the race as well.

Some of these boats had really neat colorful sails. There was a storm in the background.

They had some small sailboat racing around and some dolphins were swimming with them.

This was a neat shrimping boat that passed us up on our way.

This is a cool house on the Intercoastal Waterway headed toward Morehead City, NC note the gazebo matches the house.

This is the back of the boat look at the large crane for lifting big boats out of the water.

Here we are docked at Sanitary Restaurant and Fish Market in Morehead City, NC, odd place to stay but if you eat here for dinner you can stay the night for free. I bought some fresh jumbo shrimp here that will be our dinner for tomorrow.
