Marathon, FL October 29, 2012

We have arrived back to Marathon, FL lots of winds but it was at our back so we zipped right along into the Sombrero Marina, however, trying to get into our slot was interesting.  Ross tried about 4 times to get into it but the winds kept shifting us around.  One of the men who lives on his boat came to help us.  We through him a line and we got tied up just fine.   We will clean up the boat today and get ready to leave on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.  This week has flown by in company of good friends Pat and Shelley McKay and , Mike Sharp got to join us for a while in Key West during Fantasy Fest.  Gigi my dog was a trooper during the long wet dinghy rides back to the boat, as long as she is with her family she is very happy to be here.

Key West - Fantasy Fest 2012

We are at Sloppy Joes with "Pete and Wade" who are dressed up for Fantasy Fest as fairy's pretty funny. They are an adult only entertainment.

 Here is an interesting fellow driving down the street during Fantasy Fest.  Unfortunately, I feel it would be unappropriated to post some pictures that I took. At this festival, some or should I say most of the people are nude with body paint.

 Here is a shot of the street and it is only Tuesday, the parade is on Saturday, I guess this is an all week event.

Tutu's were a big choice of costume this year and we found out at one of the establishments it was 2 tutu's.You could not get in unless you had a tutu on.

This young lady was dressed like the devil and she was dressed up more than some.

I am not sure what they are dressed up as. But she has only paint on, that is it!!!!Oh except for her boot are real!!!!

I am enclosing some more pictures of the Fantasy Fest and they had a parade today Oct. 26, 2102 these pictures are more presentable and are very good actually.

 Even this cat had it made and was dressed up with a hat on.

We have arrived at Key West, FL with Pat and Shelley and enjoying a spaghetti dinner.

                For $10 you can get your picture taken with this parrot and boy did Gigi bark.
